. As the title suggests, I really enjoy adding touches of red to paintings. It’s a lovely contrast to the green-grey of Australian gum leaves. The Painted Finches took 165 hours (and 2 years!) to complete: my longest work to date. And it was my first attempt at painting rocks. All works are painted on conservation board. NO digital retouching used, other than the sharpen filter. … Art Illustrations Wildlife Paintings Artist Birds Australian Native Crimson Rosellas Painted Finches Mozart Red …
Help answer the question about wildlife art
Should ancient works of art, architecture, and amazing works of man be saved regardless of cost?
The city of Venice, built upon submerged logs centuries old, slowly sinking roughly 2-3 inches into the sea annually. The great Sphinx, slowly being eroded and sand blasted by the wind, sand and natural elements. A leaning tower of Pisa that already requires weight to counterbalance it's total collapse. Ancient pillars, fallen cities, fading works of art, in a state of steady yet eventual decay without restoration, thousands of years old.

Should they be considered global works of art and saved? We already have many places designated as natural wildlife preserves, protected to remain untouched. So future generations and possible extinction of species not happen .

Should we do the same with amazing accomplishments of mankind doomed to decay without restoration and upkeep, regardless of the possible gigantic cost? Keep in mind a creation 3000 years old, once gone, is gone.

Should we preserve those amazing works orfeed a whole country of starving?
I'll elaborate given the Q. Many measures have unsuccessfully been taken to stop the sinking of Venice at astronomical cost that could infact have fed several African countries. I'd like to do both…but…given saving priceless works and helping your fellow man, regardless of their standard of living and possible resentment that they could support themselves better, use protection, curb the spread of aids, etc. Really there is no right answer…it's a terrible Q that I'd think most would want both of…Should have requestioned it in a better manner that didn't involve weighing the existance of a person. My appologies for being a dumb@ss.

Originalbirdart.com was created and is managed by John Hazelton who is a graduate of the computer industry having worked for IBM and Sperry Computer Systems for over 20 years. John and his wife began to collect bird and wildlife art 12 years ago, so Originalbirdart was launched very naturally because of its creator’s personal appreciation of this extraordinary art.

Among all the works of art available, you will find bird paintings, bird art, wildlife art, animals and animal art, landscapes and landscape art, seascapes and seascape artwork, wildlife sculptures and carvings (wood carvings, or bronzes, pewter, fiberglass), original bird and wildlife paintings, still life artwork, The demographics of the artists exhibiting their art on Originalbirdart.com are a total of 59. They range from many parts of the USA as well as from the UK, Spain, Italy, Canada, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, China, Mexico and the Netherlands.

Originalbirdart.com (Mill House Gallery) was launched in March 1998 to help bird and wildlife artists market their work on the Internet. Since the internet is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, it allows for a larger audience of fans and collectors to become acquainted with and to conveniently purchase the artists’ work (unlike localized art galleries and shows). Originalbirdart.com does not charge the artists for setting up their work, only a small commission which is about half what a typical gallery charges. A work’s price is set by the artist, and is the same elsewhere. In shows or galleries, however, when a sale is made on Originalbirdart, the artist will receive a larger and much deserved share of that sale for his or her efforts.

Originalbirdart.com brings together available artwork from artists from Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Idaho, Canada, and recently, worldwide. Originalbirdart.com’s focus area for talented and accomplished artists was originally the Midwest, but now, there is no restriction. The artist’s actual artwork may be in their homes and studios, or on displays in galleries and shows. Originally, Originalbirdart.com began operations in Wisconsin in the Town of Ottawa’s only millhouse which was built in the mid-1800’s on the bank of a small stream called Scuppernong. In 2007, Originalbirdart.com relocated along-side the “world famous” White River in Norfolk, Arkansas.

In addition, in regards to the Wildlife Gallery itself, it is considered small in comparison to the Bird Art Gallery. In order to exhibit any of their work in the Wildlife Gallery, the artists must first have work on exhibit in the Bird Art Gallery.

Also, please take a minute to read some of the Testimonial provided by many of the very satisfied collectors who support Originalbirdart.com, the artwork available and the services provided.

John Hazelton and the artists hope everyone enjoys the paintings and works of art exhibited in Originalbirdart.com. Hopefully you will feel comfortable investing in original art through this medium as well. John Hazelton and the artists are determined to make this “virtual gallery” a success and are certain that you will be completely satisfied with your selection of original paintings and works of art.

Today Wildlife Art is now so popular that many of the top wildlife artists are now becoming well known world-wide for the amazing wildlife paintings and photographs of animals and birds in the wild.

However if you want to buy wildlife art you will not always find it so easy to find. There are currently many different types of wild life art and the choice available can be a little overwhelming, even though it is sometimes difficult to find exactly what you want.

You can get wildlife photos, drawings, posters, prints, paintings and sculpture. So whatever you are looking for you should be able to buy, but finding it might take some time.

Go Online to Find and Purchase Wildlife Art

When you are ready start looking for wildlife art but are not really sure of exactly what you want just search online to get some ideas of what is available. This could be a lengthy process but at the end of it you will have a much better understanding of what you like.

If you like nature and appreciate the natural world then you will definitely like wildlife art in one form or another. You should put some wildlife art in your home and you could chose to buy a painting, photograph or poster or maybe get a sculpture of a bird or an animal.

Whatever wildlife you prefer whether it is birds, insects, fish, mammals or reptiles you will be able to find whatever you by searching on the Internet. This means that art about wildlife is now so much easier to get and thus is making it more popular.

To find the best deals on all wild life posters, paintings, pictures, photos or sculptures then go to the bigger auction websites such as eBay. Here you will always find a good selection of discount wildlife art that will change almost daily. These items will be from many different sources including artists, painters, photographers and maybe even a gallery.

Wildlife Art has Many Benefits

Bring nature into your home by using wildlife art and enjoy the benefits. Whenever you want you will be able to look at natural scenes and your favorite wildlife species in their normal habitat. In addition this will make you want to get outdoors to enjoy these natural habitats and get some exercise as well as see more wildlife.

If you are not able to get out much or are restricted to being at home for any other reason then you will really appreciate having images of nature and your top wildlife in your home all year long.

There is now just so much different wildlife art available that choosing the right wildlife picture, painting or photo is probably the most difficult part of the process. You will eventually always find something that you like. If you enjoy wildlife then wildlife art is for you wherever you get it.

Wildlife Art Can Help Promote Wildlife Conservation

There are just so many different and often unique style of Wildlife Art currently available for the top wildlife artists that you have a very wide choice of species to pick from. If you collect wildlife art you will be able to enjoy incredible images and sculptures from some of the best artists in the world. Do not miss out on this great opportunity to increase your enjoyment of nature.

Anyone who loves wildlife art will have a keen appreciation of wildlife and this often means that those who collect it are also keen to help conserve natural habitats for the wildlife that lives there. Wild bird and animal extinctions are becoming more and more numerous and there are now so many threats to almost every species that we all need to do what we can to help.

With more exposure to wildlife art those that perhaps did not previously appreciate nature may understand better what nature is all about just from seeing paintings, pictures and photos of their favorite wildlife. This is a good thing and when they see some of the more famous wildlife artists selling copies of their images these people could donate to help a conservation charity and therefore help wildlife too.

When younger children see and like wildlife art they too will stand a better chance of increasing their understanding and love of nature. Through wildlife art it is therefore possible to create a greater awareness of wild places and support for nature.

This will help give all of our planet’s wildlife the possibility of a better future. This is help that they need.
